- in food processor, puree cream cheese and cottage cheese until smooth and creamy
- spoon cheese mixture into serving bowl
- using a knife, make a 1/2 inch deep channel in cheese mixture around edge of bowl
- spoon chutney into channel evenly around bowl (be sure to leave most of surface of cheese mixture chutney-free)
- sprinkle chopped nuts over remaining surface of cheese mixture
- sprinkle sliced scallions over chopped nuts
Serve with fresh apple slices or crackers for dipping.
