Cream Cheese and Lox Bagel Spread


8 oz. cream cheese at room temperature
1 - 2 oz. lox or smoked salmon (strength of flavor varies)
36 1" pieces of green part of scallions

  1. finely mince lox
  2. add half of lox to cream cheese and mix thoroughly
  3. taste cheese mixture and add more lox if necessary
  4. slice each bagel in half and cut into 6 pieces (bites)
  5. spread cheese mixture on bagel bites with 1 scallion piece per bite

Makes enough spread for 6 bagels, 6 bagel bites per bagel.
